Fun Foodie Facts:

• Balsamic Vinegars are made from grapes, like wine! The longer you age vinegar, the sweeter it gets.
• To be considered 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil there must be 3 things:
  • The oil must be .8% or less in acidity level.
  • The oil must be “first pressed”, which means the olive is only squeezed once as opposed to squeezing a second or third time.
  • The olives must be “cold pressed”, which means the producer can’t add any heat or chemicals to the olives before they squeeze in an effort to get more oils out of it.
