Reminder: Father’s Day is Sunday. As in this Sunday. And if you’ve been slacking in the planning department, not to worry — we’ve pulled together a list of cool things to do with dad this weekend. You can thank us later.

For the beer lover:

Father’s Day brunch at the Half Acre Taproom

Raise a glass to dad at Half Acre, where they’ll be servin’ cold beers alongside a la carte brunch items like quiche, croissants, shortcakes and bacon from Real Kitchen. Festivities start at 11AM — no reservation required.

For the sports fan:

Soldier Field Annual Father’s Day brunch

Treat dad like a VIP with brunch at Soldier Field’s United Club — an area normally reserved for Bears season ticket holders. In addition to enjoying an exquisite brunch, dad can also unleash his inner Robbie Gould with the opportunity to kick a field goal on the stadium’s historic field. But if you want in, you gotta call ahead — reservations are required.

For the animal lover:

Father’s Day BBQ at the Brookfield Zoo

Lions and tigers and…BBQ? Why not! Join the Chicago Zoological Society for their annual Father’s Day BBQ at the Brookfield Zoo for an afternoon of BBQ-eating and animal-watching. The all-you-can-eat buffet includes dad-approved favorites like baby back ribs, baked beans, apple cobbler and more. Reservations are required.

For the nature enthusiast:

Father’s Day Canoe Adventure at Chicago Botanic Gardens

Paddle your way through the lakes of the Chicago Botanic Gardens with their chief aquatic botanist for your chance to learn new things and experience another side of this beautiful Chicago spot. There are still spots available this Saturday — reservations are required.
